The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2009 commencing from 11th July, 2009 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service. The examination will be held at various centres across the country. Salient features of the examination are published herein for general information of candidates. CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY: (a) Age Limits: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on 1st July, 2009. 16. Initial Engagement: The initial engagement is subjected to successful completion of training. The initial engagement is for 15 years.

Candidates declared Medically Temporary Unfit in the intial recruitment medical could avail specialist review from the specified Military Hospital within a maximum period of 21 days. No further review/appeal is permissible if declared unfit in the specialist review.

ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered / fabricated or suppress any material information while filling up the application form.
