Pageant Rules 1.

In conjunction with the Miss Georgia Peanut Pageant and the Miss Georgia Sweet Potato Pageant, we will no longer allow any queen to hold any of these three titles in the same year. Appearances for the Cotton, Peanut and Sweet Potato pageants overlap, so in fairness, we have determined that it would be best to have separate queens for each pageant. This will also help our queens by not making them decide which pageant they will represent at the various functions. 2. Contestant numbers will be assigned in reverse order. The first application in will be last out. 3. Contestants will compete in the age division based on the contestant’s age the day of the pageant. 4. No cameras or video cameras allowed, we will have a photographer and videographer. 5. Anyone acting in a disorderly manner or displaying conduct relating to poor sportsmanship will be disqualified without a refund. 6. No refunds unless the pageant should be cancelled. 7. Entry fees and wallet head shot photo must accompany application. 8. Baby, Teeny, Tiny, Little & Petite Miss will be scored a 1 to 10 on personality, beauty, poise, gown, and overall appearance. 9. Mothers that escort their child on stage must dress appropriately. This event will be recorded and judges will be asked to deduct points from child scores accordingly. 10. There will be no practice and the contestants will walk the basic T. See the chart above. 11. Tiny, Little & Petite Miss will have an on stage question that will come off of their application. This question will be asked on the 4th X next to the podium. 12. Queens will receive cash award at the end of their reign provided they have fulfilled their obligations. 13. There are 3 parades that I ask for you to ride the float and they are: Peter Pan Parade in Sylvester on October 16, 2010 at 10 AM; Sweet Potato Parade in Ocilla on October 30, 2010 at 11 AM and the Tifton Hometown Holidays Parade on December 4, 2010 at 5PM. 14. The director will email or mail each contestant a letter after the deadline giving the final details of the pageant. 15. There will be a $45.00 fee for all returned checks. 16. Make sure you include a wallet head shot photo for the program book or email a picture at the address on the front of the application.
