OHIO PEACE OFFICERS’ MEMORIAL CEREMONY TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2009 10 A.M. MOTORCADE DEPARTURE

FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE OF OHIO STATE LODGE 222 E. TOWN ST. • COLUMBUS, OHIO 43215 Sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio, Inc., Memorial Motorcade will leave from The Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio State Lodge at 222 E. Town St., Columbus, and travel to OPOTA in London. Marked and unmarked cars are welcome to assemble at 8:30 a.m. The motorcade will depart promptly at 10 a.m. and proceed past the East Broad and South High Street side of the Statehouse. It will proceed to the West Mound Street entrance of I-70 West and then to State Route 56. Those participating in the motorcade will be able to park in a designated lot at OPOTA. Lights may be used, but no sirens. Cruisers supplied by departments of the fallen officers from 2008 will lead the way. If your department would like to have a representative(s) participate, contact Denise Young at (800) 367-6524 by May 1 and note how many cruisers you plan to send. Directions to the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio State Lodge are located on the back of this invitation.

Town St. Directions from the South: I-71 North to 4th Street/Livingston exit, stay in the left two lanes. Turn left to take 4th Street to East Main Street. Turn right on Main Street. Turn left on Grant Street. Turn left on Town Street. Assemble at 222 E. Town St. Directions from the West: I-70 East to 4th Street/Livingston exit, stay in the left two lanes. Turn left on 4th Street to East Main Street. Turn right on Main Street. Turn left on Grant Street. Turn left on Town Street. Assemble at 222 E. Town St. Directions from the East: I-70 West to 4th Street exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn right on Main Street and then right on Grant Street. Turn left on Town Street. FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE EASTERN OHIO MEMORIAL MOTORCADE Officers traveling I-71 South from the eastern part of Ohio are invited to join in a motorcade to Columbus. The Eastern Ohio Memorial Motorcade will meet at the rest area off I-71 at mile marker 197 at 7:30 a.m., which will allow adequate time to get to the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio State Lodge in Columbus in time for the 10 a.m. departure to OPOTA in London.
