First, our RELATIONSHIP with God Second, our RELATIONSHIP with others

Frequently Asked Questions Q: Where do I pay deposits and balances for all the trips? A: Located in the office area is a green lock box mounted on the wall. With the box there will be envelopes to fill out for each trip. Place deposits and balance in the green box at the appropriate time.

Q: How can I afford all these trips you have planned? A: You might not be able to. The point is not to break your bank. I want to give many opportunities for students to grow and in different ways. Choose the trips that are right for your student and also that you can afford. If there is an issue with finances and your student really wants to go on one of the trips then we may be able to work something out on certain trips (Student Life at the Beach excluded).

Q: Is there any more information about the trips? A: Before an event I will put out more information about each individual trip. You also can check the church website from time to time for more info. (www.mtairybaptist.com

Q: Can I work with the students now that my student is in the student ministry? A: If you want a place to serve then come see Chris Meaders. Mt. Airy Baptist Church wants everyone to be involved in a ministry best suited for him/her, not just because your student is in the ministry. We do have a way for parents and volunteers to be a big help to the student ministry without being in the spotlight though. This ministry is called Parent/Volunteer Network. Check the back for more info.

Q: Are these the only events happening throughout the year? A: No. We have many more opportunities for your students throughout the year. Please be on the lookout for other exciting events, such as, fifth quarters, lock-ins, concerts, HOUSE parties, etc. These events will be advertised in The BEACON and on the website.

This night is designed for the student that is ready to take their faith to the next level. If you are serious about connecting with God, and with others just like you, then you will want to join us for HOUSE. This is a night of worship, getting in the Word, and fellowship,, all designed to draw us closer to our God and one another.

Sunday’s @ 5:45pm “One One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” Psalm 27:4 Once a month after church on Sunday nights, the students go to a church members home to just hang out, eat and have fun.
