VOTE AT YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE! Take advantage of early voting centers and absentee/vote by mail ballots Sept 30 - Oct 6 Any Ohio citizen who is 18 years and older can walk into an early voting center, register, AND vote on the spot. Sept 30 – Nov 3 Apply for your Absentee Ballot or Vote by Mail Ballot. As soon as you get your ballot be sure to mail it in as soon as possible. Nov 3 If an absentee ballot is cast from anywhere in the U.S. and you return it by mail, it must be postmarked the day before the election and received by the board of elections no later than 10 days after the election. Nov 4 If you return an absentee ballot in person or if a nearby relative delivers it to the board for you, it must be delivered to the board of elections no later than the close of polls at 7:30 pm on Election Day. Nov 4 VOTE in person on election day.
