Notice of Race
2008 C22 Region 4 Championship Regatta Hosted by Fleet 124 and St. Marys Boat Club 1. Rules: the regatta will be sailed by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing, USSA, and the C22 One-Design Class Rules; except for those altered in the sailing instructions. 2. Classes: C22 one-design fleet 3. Schedule: Friday Aug 15, 2008 *Welcome traveling boats (refreshments provided) Saturday Aug 16, 2008 *8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. *9:30 a.m. *11:00 a.m. *Lunch on water *6:00 p.m. Sunday Aug 17, 2008 *10:00 a.m.
Sign-in at the SMBC clubhouse Skippers meeting 1st race, subsequent races to follow with no races to start after 3:30 p.m. Lunch meat sandwiches / chips / beverages provided Supper will be available at the club for a reasonable cost, Region 4 annual meeting to follow after supper Next race in series, no racing to start after 2:00 p.m. Awards presentation to follow
4. Course: windward-leeward, layout and number of times around the course will depend on wind conditions 5. Sailing instructions: will be available at the time of registration 6. Fees: $30 7. Scoring: low point scoring system per the Racing Rules of Sailing 8. Location: Regatta location is the St. Mary’s Boat Club 9. Awards: Top 5 finishing skippers and crew *Travelers are invited to camp on the grounds of SMBC and make use of all club facilities *For more information contact: Kevin & Linda Myers
