Preparing for the Adventure Many people have asked us over the last month and a half, “How are things going with the Missions planning?” We are preparing for the Greatest Adventure which includes every facet of our lives. The last month and a half have been a whirlwind of mailing newsletters, presentations in front of Heritage Church and different small groups, mission board meetings, and per-
sonal contacts. Our kids are more and more aware of our moving and Abi tells everyone we meet (including strangers at the grocery store) that we’re going in a helicopter and moving to Guatemala! Thank you for your prayers as they are the backbone of our preparations. We are learning to wait on God for His timing. “Our soul waits for the Lord, He is our help…” Psalm 33:20
Trip to Brookings ,OR in July
How’s the Support Coming? We want say thank you to everyone who has sent us their support cards. It is amazing how people can surprise you!!! Currently we have a team of 29 people who have pledged to support us either in prayer, one time gifts, or monthly donations. We have two Bible Study groups who have pledged to support us diligently in prayer and are praying about additional opportunities. We have a private Christian school who has pledged to pay for our children’s home school curriculum. In our first letter we broke our budget into Living, Ministry, and Benefit expenses. Here is the breakdown of our personal living expenses.

That we would trust God for His provision We will be putting our house up for sale in September we hope, pray the Lord directs that sale. Pray for wisdom as we re-invest that money. That our support team would grow. For our upcoming meetings with Grace Community Church, Bayside, Sierra Bible, and Lake Almanor Community Church.

A Final Word All the girls pictured are girls from the Kids Alive Guatemala and live at the Children’s home. Please pray for them!!! We’ll be contacting you personally over the next month to answer any further questions you might have and to catch up. We look forward to hearing from you also.
