Future Rewards After Jesus Christ Returns (compiled, slightly edited and formatted by Bill Stevenson) Note: I used a KJV Bible software. [Luke 6:22-23] Jesus Christ said, “‘Blessed are you, when others shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice you in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in Heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.’” [Matthew 6:1 & 4] Jesus Christ said, “‘Take heed that you do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise you have no reward of your Father Who is in Heaven…. That your alms may be in secret: and thy Father Who sees in secret Himself shall reward you openly’”. (This means that we shouldn’t do good things to impress others. We should do Holy Spirit urged good deeds anonymously if possible.) [Colossians 3:23-34] “And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.” [1 Corinthians 3:11-15] “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any individual build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, every individual's work shall be made manifest: for The Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every individual 's work of what sort it is. If any individual 's work abide which he [or she] has built thereupon, he [or she] shall receive a reward. If any individual 's work shall be burned, he [or she] shall suffer loss: but he [or she] shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” [Hebrews 10:35-36] “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.” [2 John 1:8-9] “Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He [or she] who abides in the doctrine of Christ, he [or she] has both the Father and the Son.” When is the reward of immortality given to almost all of the adopted children of God? (Most think right after a believer dies.) [Matthew 16:27] Jesus Christ said, “For the Son Of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every individual according to his [or her] works.” [Revelation 22:12-14] Jesus Christ said, “‘And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every one according as his [or her] work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city [the New Jerusalem]’”. [Isaiah 62:10-12] “Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Behold, the Lord has proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes;
1
behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.’ And they shall call them, ‘The Holy people, the Redeemed of the Lord: and you shall be called, sought out, A City not forsaken.’” [Hebrew 11:13 & 16] After stating about the righteous faith in God that Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah had, “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the Earth…. But now they desire a better country, that is, a Heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a City.” [Hebrews 11:13 & 31-12:4] After stating about the right actions by faith done by Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the Israelites outside of Jericho, “By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment; they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds. You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” (So are the believers of God mentioned in Hebrews 11 in Heaven right now?) [Acts 2:29-36] The Apostle Peter proclaimed, “‘Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; he foreseeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in Hell, neither His flesh did see corruption. [see Psalm 16:10] This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which you now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said, ‘The Lord said unto my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, until I make Your foes Your footstool.’’ [see Psalm 68:18 & 110:1] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, Whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” We know that only Enoch, Moses, Elijah, were specially resurrected by God the Father, but no one else. [John 5:22-29] Jesus Christ said, “‘For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all people should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honored not the Son honored not the Father Who hath sent Him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears My word, and believeth on Him Who sent Me, has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming,

and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they who hear shall live. For as the Father has life in Himself; so has He given to the Son to have life in Himself; and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son Of Man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.’” [1 Corinthians 15:50-58] “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, ‘Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?’ [Hosea 13:14] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” [1 Thessalonians 4:16] “For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” [Revelation 11:15-19] “And the seventh angel sounded [the seventh trumpet]; and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.’ And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, saying, ‘We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Who are, and was, and are to come; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and has reigned. And the nations were angry, and Your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should give reward unto Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Your name, small and great; and should destroy them who destroy the Earth. And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” (When did the twenty four elders get up to Heaven? Could it be some of those who were resurrected at the time that Jesus Christ died?) So when do the believers of God mentioned in Hebrews 11 become incorruptible and immortal, and go to the New Jerusalem in Heaven to receive the other promised rewards? So the theory that the Christians leave Earth at Revelation 4:1 is wrong. Therefore Christians in USA and Europe should be getting ready spiritually for very rough times ahead in the ending of the Laodicea Church Age or Age of God’s Grace.
