Wing Series Designed to fulfill everything hunters look for in a shotgun, Beretta Whitewing and Blackwing models are proof that you can still get brilliant results on a reasonable budget.Together they contain all the characteristics of Beretta's renowned over-and-unders: they'll take on the most testing conditions... and the most difficult game. Practical and functional, the Wing Series is made to measure up to the most intense hunt. Produced in 12 and 20 gauge models, the polished finish receivers display scroll pattern engraving on the Blackwing and game scene engraving on the Whitewing. Further distinction is provided by the slim-line round fore-end of the Whitewing and the classic Schnabel fore-end of the

Blackwing. To minimize sighting glare, the top of the receivers are nonreflective. Gold-plated trigger is standard on all Wing shotguns. The polished blued barrels feature an open side rib design that not only allows more rapid cooling, but also makes for even lighter handling. The stock and fore-end are designed to optimize pointability and balance. Built for the most testing conditions and the most challenging game, both Blackwing and Whitewing shotguns contain all the essential features of Beretta’s best over-and-unders at a reasonable cost.

Produced in 12, 20 and 28 gauge models, the Silver Pigeon S over-and-unders are the most elegant, finely balanced and responsive double barrel shotguns in the world...thanks to Beretta's patented locking system which creates a particularly slim yet robust receiver.The receiver is completely closed to keep out dirt and powder residue, reducing wear and maintenance. Beretta's low profile, box-lock receiver is machined from a solid steel forging and features hinge pins positioned as close to the bottom barrel axis as possible.

This arrangement allows barrels to be located lower in the receiver and in closer alignment to the shooter's eyes and hands, so pointability is enhanced.The design results in recoil being more in line with the shooter's shoulders so there is noticeably less muzzle rise when firing and felt recoil is reduced.The durability improves by reducing stress on the locking lugs when firing. The new Beretta 471 Silver Hawk and 470 EL's unite almost 500 years of tradition and elegance with modern innovative technology. Remarkably light and responsive, they incorporate features that enhance performance and durability while preserving their simplicity. Sophisticated laser technology fuses the barrels to the monobloc, creating the unique Beretta Block, while the new 12 gauge Optima-Choke tubes feature an extended constriction taper for minimized pellet deformation and improved shot patterns. The ejection system provides a selector switch inside the fore-end for either automatic ejection or manual extraction. Advanced EDM machining defines the patented locking mechanism.

Featuring a hawk's head inlaid in gold on the top lever, the new 471 Silver Hawk has an elegant, low profile receiver made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel alloy. The top moldings, coined in relief, make these wonderful side-by-sides even more slender and elegant. The special Beretta nickel finish protects the new, rich, floral engraving from scratches and weather conditions. The top lever, triggers, trigger guard, trigger plate and fore-end bushing are also protected by this tough surface finish.

A391 Xtrema 3.5 When the AL391 Urika was designed the goal was to have the best 3" chambered shotgun on the market. We did not want to penalize the Urika with the added weight, length and cost needed to handle the pressure and stresses associated with the 3 1/2" super magnum loads. The A391 Xtrema 3.5, designed from the ground up to handle 3 1/2" ammunition. Unlike other 3 1/2" shotguns that are simple extensions of their 3" counterparts, the Xtrema is a completely new design that complements and completes the Beretta 391 shotgun family.

The action of the Xtrema features a unique gas operation system. The Xtrema is the first shotgun to incorporate a gas system with a rotating locking bolt. The locking lugs engage the extended barrel tang, that in turn mates perfectly with the receiver due to its indexing lugs and extended surface contact area. This minimizes barrel movement caused by the powerful 3 1/2" loads and improves accuracy. The Xtrema was designed to shoot the heaviest steel loads repeatedly and continuously. The self-cleaning system functions with amazing reliability.

A391 Xtrema 3.5 The Xtrema minimizes felt recoil with four design features: 1–Gel-Tek recoil pad. The silicone gel core of the Gel-Tek expands and distributes the recoil effect over the entire pad surface. 2–Optima-Bore. The overbored barrel, together with the lengthened forcing cone, help reduce the felt recoil. 3–Spring-Mass recoil reducer. Located inside the stock, the spring-mass recoil reduction system counteracts the rearward forces generated by shooting. 4–Bolt travel recoil absorber. Manufactured from an advanced elastomer, this recoil absorber reduces the stress caused by the bolt impact and simultaneously reduces the vibrations transmitted to the shooter.

Testing has shown that the Xtrema reduces felt recoil up to 23% versus typical semi-automatic shotguns. The Xtrema features new Optima-Choke Plus tubes. These choke tubes, designed to withstand the stresses of continuous heavy steel shot load use, feature a long gradual constriction to minimize shot deformation and improve shot patterns. Magazine capacity is three 3 1/2" shells and up to five 2 3/4" shells without the plug reducer installed. The NEW Xtrema…the softest shooting 3 1/2".

3901 Derived from the famous AL390 Silver Mallard, the 3901 is a no-frills semiautomatic: an affordable, durable, reliable shotgun. The attractive charcoal gray stock and fore-end balance the rugged all black non-reflective finish on all metal components, while a gold plated trigger accents the assembly. In 2003 this line has been expanded to include the 3901 Camo and 3901 RL (reduced

length) in 20 gauge. The camouflage option includes models in Mossy Oak New Break-Up and Mossy Oak Shadowgrass. The 20 gauge 3901 RL models feature a 13 1/2" length-of-pull stock that is ideal for youths or adults of smaller stature. The short recoil, mechanical action delivers the power of a locked breech shotgun, concentrating 100% of the combustion gases behind the shot wad for extra power and range. The lightweight streamlined ES100 design affords instinctive handling, responsiveness and pointability. The black polymer, glass reinforced, checkered stock and fore-end is impervious to weather and abuse. All visible metal parts have an anti-glare, rugged matte black finish. New for 2003, the ES100 Advantage Wetlands camouflage models are complemented by the Realtree Hardwoods HD finish (receiver,

barrel, stock and fore-end).Specially designed for deer hunting, the unique ES100 Rifled Slug is Beretta’s only rifled bore shotgun. Chosen for its inherent accuracy, the steel top receiver is permanently attached to a rigid, heavy, 24" barrel with sabot slug-optimized 1 in 28" twist rifling. Since the top receiver and barrel are joined, there is no loss of zero when the gun is disassembled, and heavy recoil will not shift the barrel/receiver/sight system alignment.
