PADRE IMOLUNA MES 1st QUARTER 2019 NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL February 21, 2019
I.
Introduction: Many countries, particularly in earthquake-prone regions, have been deploying networks of state-of-the art sensors in order to gain a better understanding of movements of the ground. The ultimate goal is to get ahead of these events so that the next time the ground shakes or a volcano growls, people won’t be caught off the guard and lives can potentially be saved. In this case, it requires proper monitoring, continuous development of measures to be utilized once the disaster occurs.
