We’re beginning to finalize details on the financial side of our 100th Anniversary Gala Weekend. Between the Masses on November 1st & 2nd and the donations given during the Gala, we were able to raise just over $40,000 that will matched 100% by the Diocese of Austin. Overall, the Gala helped bring $100,005 dollars to support Catholic Campus Ministry at UT. Additionally, another $89,000 was raised to honor Fr. Bob Scott through the Good Stop Endowment that will help support the UCC for years to come. If you’re interested in giving a gift to the Endowment to honor Fr. Bob Scott, call Amber at 512-476-7351 x13 or [email protected] . $100,000 may sound like a whole lot of money—which it is—but it takes so much more to fully fund Catholic Campus Ministry at UT! More important than the balance sheet, your gifts of prayer and your sacrifice of time are essential to this ministry. Without all three pillars, this ministry would surely not have survived the last 100 years! Thank you all for responding to the Spirit’s call!

Weekly Reflection Question: What do you identify as your three primary gifts? Are you a good steward of the gifts God has given you? Fr. Isaac Hecker, CSP, Founder of the Paulists, pray for us! Compass Bible Study! Meeting on Thursday nights from 7-8 pm in the St. Francis Room, Compass is a fun and laid-back way to read scripture and get a little more out of Mass. Every week we spend an hour discussing the next Sunday’s readings and sharing our faith. We are student run, student led, and totally low time commitment, so drop by whenever you can. Come hang out with us this Thursday! Diocesan Offices Moved! The Diocese of Austin moved into their new offices located at 6225 E. Highway 290, Austin, TX 78723-1025. The new main telephone number for the Diocese is 512-949-2400. There will be a blessing of the new offices on Tuesday at 3:30 pm. All are welcome.
