Tim Writes The pulpit swap with Marge went very well although I still think she got off lightly with just two services. I really enjoyed catching up with folk and was encouraged by how well my memory held up as to the order of each service after so many years absence. Nicky has been confirmed as having swine flu and so she is avoiding contact with folk for the rest of this week. Fortunately she is on the mend. The rest of the family did not have to be quarantined as long as we are not symptomatic. The special shared meal in people's homes went off very well. Of the four different hosts I have spoken to everyone of them shared how they had a fabulous time. I especially enjoyed learning about Joyce Klempel's early years around Lake Brunner.

There is a note further on in the newsletter about the hospital charity ball. This year the charity of choice is "The Shed" so can I encourage all who are thinking about it to get in and sign up promptly.
