Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?
(The Elephant) In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
١ 1.
ِ ِْب ا ِ َ ْ َِ َ ََ َ َر َ َْأََْ َ َ آ
Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?
٢ 2.
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?
٣ 3.
َ ِ ََ َْ*ِْ )ًَْا َأ+ َ َ,َْوَأر
And He sent against them flights of Birds,
٤ 4.
ٍ ِ ْ َ !ِ ُْه$َ ََْْْ آ%ََأَْ ی
ٍ /%ِ, 0/1 َ َر ٍة%ِ ِ ِ*ِ1َْ
Striking them with stones of baked clay.
٥ 5.
ٍل5ُْآ61 ٍ ْ7ََََ َ*ُْ آ%َ
Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
