Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ِبِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ُأَلْهَاكُ ُم التّكَاثُر [102:1] Abundance diverts you,
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
َحَتّى زُ ْرتُمُ الْمَقَابِر [102:2] Until you come to the graves.
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
َف تَعَْلمُون َ ْكَلّ سَو [102:3] Nay! you shall soon know,
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
َف تَعَْلمُون َ ْثُمّ كَلّ سَو [102:4] Nay! Nay! you shall soon know.
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ِكَلّ َلوْ تَ ْعلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِين [102:5] Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge,
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ََلتَ َروُنّ الْجَحِيم [102:6] You should most certainly have seen the hell;
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ِعيْنَ ا ْليَقِين َ ثُمّ َلتَ َروُ ّنهَا [102:7] Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty;
Surah at-Takaathur (The Competition)
ِن النّعِيم ِ َثُ ّم لَتُسَْألُنّ يَ ْومَئِذٍ ع [102:8] Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons.
