Surah al-’Aadiyaat (The Chargers)

ِ‫بِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم‬ In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Surah al-’Aadiyaat (The Chargers)

‫وَالْعَا ِديَاتِ ضَبْحًا‬ [100:1] I swear by the runners breathing pantingly,

‫ت قَدْحًا‬ ِ ‫فَالْمُو ِريَا‬ [100:2] Then those that produce fire striking,

Surah al-’Aadiyaat (The Chargers)

‫صبْحًا‬ ُ ‫ت‬ ِ ‫فَا ْلمُغِيرَا‬ [100:3] Then those that make raids at morn,

Surah al-’Aadiyaat (The Chargers)

‫فَأَثَرْنَ بِ ِه نَقْعًا‬ [100:4] Then thereby raise dust,

Surah al-’Aadiyaat (The Chargers)

‫َفوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا‬ [100:5] Then rush thereby upon an assembly:

ٌ‫ن الِْنسَانَ لِرَبّ ِه لَ َكنُود‬ ّ ِ‫إ‬ [100:6] Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord.

ٌ‫شهِيد‬ َ َ‫وَِإنّهُ عَلَى َذلِكَ ل‬ [100:7] And most surely he is a witness of that.

ٌ‫حبّ الْخَيْ ِر لَشَدِيد‬ ُ ِ‫وَِإنّهُ ل‬ [100:8] And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth.

ِ‫َأفَلَ َيعْلَمُ إِذَا ُبعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْ ُقبُور‬ [100:9] Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised,

ِ‫ل مَا فِي الصّدُور‬ َ ّ‫وَحُص‬ [100:10] And what is in the breasts is made apparent?

ٌ‫خبِير‬ َ ّ‫إِنّ َربّهُم ِبهِمْ َيوْمَئِذٍ ل‬ [100:11] Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them.
