Truly he succeeds that purifies it, And he fails that corrupts it!
(The Sun) In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
َ َوَُه ِ ْ وَا

By the Sun and his (glorious) splendor;
٢
َوَاَْ َ ِ ِإذَا ََه
٣
َوَا َ ِر ِإذَا َ ه
By the Moon as she follow him;
By the Day as it shows up (the Sun's) glory;
٤
َْ ِ" ِإذَا !َ َْه# وَا
٥
ََ َه% َوَا( َء َوﻡ
By the Night as it conceals it;
By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure;
٦ 6.
َض َوﻡَ *ََه ِ َْر,ْوَا
By the Earth and its (wide) expanse;
٧ 7.
By the Soul, and the proportion and order Given to it;
ََاه.َْ َرهَ َو.ُ4ُ5 َ َ َ َْ,َ5
٨ 8.
And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right; --
٩ 9.
َ اه.َ َوﻡَ ﺱ ٍ ْ1ََوﻥ
َ َزآ ه9َ ﻡ: َ َْ5=َ<ْ َأ
Truly he succeeds that purifies it,

َ َدﺱ ه9َب ﻡ َ َA ْ<َ=َو
10. And he fails that corrupts it!

ََاه.ْ َCِ% ُد.ُ َD ْEَ%F َآ
11. The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrongdoing.
١٢
َ َأﺵَْهH َ َIَJِإ ِذ اﻥ
12. Behold, the most wicked Man among them was deputed (for impiety).
١٣
ََه#ُْ َوﺱKِ اLَ َ=َ ﻥKِ ُل ا.ُْ َرﺱNُ َ َََل5
13. But the messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! and (bar her not from) having her drink!"
١٤
َ اه.َ(َ5 ْNِ ِJَﻥFِ% Nُ O%ْ َرNِ ْ#ََP َ َ<ﻡْ َ< َم5 َََُوهIَ5 Rُ .ُ%F َSَ5
14. Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, High and low)!
١٥
ََهJُْP ف ُ َUَ! ََو
15. And for Him is no fear of its consequences.
