075 Qiyamah

Does Man think that he will be left uncontrolled, uncontrolled, (without purpose)? purpose)?

(The Resurrection) In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

١ 1.

I do call to witness the Resurrection Day;

٢ 2.

ُ ََِ !َ َ"ْ#َ‫ ﻥ‬% ‫ن َأ‬ ُ َ‫( ا ْ'ِﻥ‬ ُ َْ)َ‫َأی‬

Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?

٤ 4.

ِ َ‫ ا  ا‬ ِ ْ ِ ُ ِْ‫َو َ ُأ‬

And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit; (eschew Evil).

٣ 3.

ِ ََِْ ‫ َ ُأِْ ُ َِ ْ ِم ا‬

ُ َ‫ي ََﻥ‬ َ - َ.‫ أَن ﻥ‬/ََ % َ ‫ َ ِدرِی‬/ََ

Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.

٥ 5.

ُ ََ‫ َأ‬3َ ُ#َِْ ‫ن‬ ُ َ‫ ا ْ'ِﻥ‬4ُ ‫ِی‬3ُ‫ْ ی‬5َ

But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him.

٦ 6.

ِ ََِْ ‫ن یَ ْ ُم ا‬ َ ‫َ ُل َأی‬8َْ‫ی‬

He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

٧ 7.

3ُ َ:َ;ْ ‫ق ا‬ َ 3ِ َ ‫>َ ِ'ذَا‬

At length, when the Sight is dazed,

٨ 8.

And the moon is buried in darkness.

٩ 9.

3ُ َ"َْ ‫@ ا‬ َ ََA‫َو‬

3ُ َ"َْ ‫ وَا‬ ُ ْ"C ‫َوﺝُ"ِ َ! ا‬

And the sun and moon are joined together --

١٠

3. ََ"ْ ‫ ا‬% َ ْ‫ َأی‬Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ن ی‬ ُ َ‫یَُ ُل ا ْ'ِﻥ‬

10. That Day will Man say "Where is the refuge?"

‫آَ َ َو َز َر‬

11. By no means! No place of safety!

3. ََLُْ"ْ ‫ ا‬Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ ی‬M َ -‫ َر‬/َ ‫ِإ‬

١٢

12. Before thy Lord (alone) that Day will be the place of rest.

١٣

3َ A‫ َم َوَأ‬4 َ َ"ِ Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ن ی‬ ُ َ‫ُ ا ْ'ِﻥ‬8;َُ‫ی‬

13. That Day will man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back.

١٤

ٌ‫ة‬3َ ِ:َ ِ َِْ‫ ﻥ‬/ََ ‫ن‬ ُ َ‫ ا ْ'ِﻥ‬5ِ َ

14. Nay, man will be evidence against himself,

Qُ 3َ ‫َذِی‬Rَ /َْ ‫َو َ ْ َأ‬

15. Even though he were to put up his excuses.

١٦

ِ ِ 5َ َ#ْRَLِ M َ َ‫كْ ِ ِ َِﻥ‬3- َ)ُ‫ َ ﺕ‬

16. Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'án) to make haste therewith.

١٧

ُ َ‫ﻥ‬Uْ3ُ‫َ ُ َو‬Rْ"َ‫ن َََْ ﺝ‬  ‫ِإ‬

17. It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it:

١٨

ُ َ‫ﻥ‬Uْ3ُ ْ!ِ;‫ >َﺕ‬Qُ َ‫أْﻥ‬3َ َ ‫>َ ِ'ذَا‬

18. But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated):

ُ َ‫ن َََْ ََﻥ‬  ‫ُ  ِإ‬V

١٩ 19. Nay more,

it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear):

٢٠

َ َِ‫َﺝ‬Rْ ‫ن ا‬ َ .;ِ)ُ‫ْ ﺕ‬5َ َ‫آ‬

20. Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,

٢١

‫ َة‬3َ ِAWْ ‫ن ا‬ َ ‫رُو‬Gَ َ‫َوﺕ‬

21. And leave alone the Hereafter.

٢٢

ٌ‫ة‬3َ ِX‫ ﻥ‬Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ٌ ی‬Q ُ‫ُوﺝ‬

22. Some faces that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty) --

٢٣

ٌ‫ة‬3َ ِYَ‫َ ﻥ‬Z-‫ َر‬/َ ‫ِإ‬

23. Looking towards their Lord;

ٌ‫ة‬3َ ِ‫ َﺱ‬Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ٌ ی‬Q ُ‫َو ُوﺝ‬

24. And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal,

٢٥

ٌ‫ة‬3َ َِ> َZِ 5َ َRُْ‫ أَن ی‬% . َُ‫ﺕ‬

25. In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them;

\ َ ِ‫َا‬3L ‫آَ ِإذَا ََ^َ]ْ ا‬

٢٦ 26. Yea,

when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit),

٢٧

‫ق‬ ٍ ‫ْ رَا‬%َ 5َ ِ‫َو‬

27. And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?"

٢٨

‫ق‬ ُ ‫َا‬3ِْ ‫ َأﻥ ُ ا‬%  َY‫َو‬

28. And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting;

٢٩

‫ق‬ ِ  ِ ‫ق‬ ُ  ‫] ا‬ ِ َLْ ‫وَا‬

29. And one leg will be joined with another:

٣٠

‫ق‬ ُ ََ"ْ ‫ ا‬Gٍ ِHَْ َ‫ ی‬M َ -‫ َر‬/َ ‫ِإ‬

30. That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord!

٣١

/َ‫ق َو َ ﺹ‬ َ 4 َ‫>ََ ﺹ‬

31. So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray! --

٣٢

/ َ َ‫ب َوﺕ‬ َ G َ‫ آ‬%ِaَ ‫َو‬

32. But on the contrary, He rejected Truth and turned away!

٣٣

/cَ"َLَ‫ َأهِْ ِ ی‬/َ ‫( ِإ‬ َ َ‫ُ  َذه‬V

33. Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit!

٣٤

/َ ْ‫َو‬8َ> M َ َ /َ ْ‫َأو‬

34. Woe to thee, (O man!) yea, woe!

٣٥

/َ ْ‫َو‬8َ> M َ َ /َ ْ‫ُ  َأو‬V

35. Again, woe to thee, (O man!), yea woe!

٣٦

‫ًى‬4ُ‫ك ﺱ‬ َ 3َ ْLُ‫ن أَن ی‬ ُ َ‫( ا ْ'ِﻥ‬ ُ َْ)َ‫َأی‬

36. Does Man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?

/َْ"ُ‫\ ی‬ f ِ %- ً َْcُ‫ ﻥ‬M ُ َ‫َأ َْ ی‬

37. Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)?

٣٨

‫ >ََ ى‬g َ ََhَ> ً َََ ‫ن‬ َ َ‫ُ  آ‬V

38. Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion.

٣٩

/َi‫ُﻥ‬8ْ ‫ وَا‬3َ َ‫آ‬G ‫ ا‬% ِ َْ‫وْﺝ‬j ‫ ِْ ُ ا‬5َ َRَ#َ>

39. And of him He made two sexes, male and female.

٤٠

/َ‫\ ا ْ"َ ْﺕ‬ َ ِْ)ُ‫ أَن ی‬/ََ ‫ َِ ِد ٍر‬M َ ِ ‫ َذ‬ َ َْ ‫َأ‬

40. Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead?
