The SCION SQ GC-MS system defines a new standard of usability for routine analysis. The SCION features patented lens-free optical path, axial ion source, select curved q0, high-capacity turbomolecular pump, high speed orthogonal integrated detector, multi-axis noise cancelling design, and high-speed digital electronics. The Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer includes Electron Ionization (EI) full Scan and SIM (Selective Ion Monitoring ) modes of operation. The MS has a mass range of 1-1200 m/z and scan rates up to 14,000 Da/sec. The electron energy can be adjusted from 0eV to 150eV. High efficiency quadrupole mass filter (q1) incorporates pre- and post-filters. Isotope Calculator, AMDIS, MS Interpreter are also included. AMDIS works with only one channel ((full scan (TIC) or one MRM channel)) xms data files.
