CRACK the magic clay can do

Mor Mor Creative Forum proudly present ‘ Crack: the magic clay can do ’, an exhibition by 12 artists who use clay. Clay is a material so malleable it can be transformed almost endlessly, yet carries the weight of historical expectations. ‘ Crack ’ will challenge these expectations by pushing clay beyond its expected limits. Artists in ‘ Crack ’ includes Anuchai Sripoocharoentong, Be Takerng Pattanopas, Pornpraseart Yamazaki, Pim Sudhikam, Pitt Matrliam, Pratya Raktabutr, Korakoj Suksapvasin, Nimmawadee Krainara, Pornphun Sutthiprapha, Emsophian Benjametha, Tikampon Engchuan, and guest artist Udom Udomsrianan. The exhibit ion is curated by Be Takerng Pattanopas of Chulalongkorn University. Mor Mor Creative Forum is a non-government and non-profit organization, where those working in the field of art & design join to promote alternative spaces for new generations of artists and designers to show their works and to offer alternative food for thoughts to the Thai public. ‘ Crack ’ is on show at Baan Silom Shopping & Dining Arcade, Silom Soi 19, near Surasak BTS station from 14-28 February 2007, 10.00-18.00.
