Solara Slim

Solara Slim The Solara Slim incorporates many design features to ensure the highest standard of performance and reliability is combined with speed of installation. The lightweight injection moulded polycarbonate body has inbuilt cable grips, tool free connections, snap fit cover and quick and effective Hacel-Lok ceiling fixings.
Once the polycarbonate body has been installed the die cast aluminium bezel is simply clipped into place, providing a clean finish between the luminaire and the ceiling. The slim 107mm luminaire is available with a comprehensive choice of lamp wattages, high frequency electronic ballasts including dimming and emergency versions, enhanced optical performance reflectors and quality glass options. The Solara Slim is eminently suitable for a wide range of applications including retail, commercial and architectural projects.

Solara Performer high quality compact fluorescent downlighters are available in a wide choice of wattages and control gear permutations to suit a varied spectrum of internal lighting applications. The luminaire features an aluminium die cast bezel and a reflector photometrically designed to achieve luminance values below 1500cd/m2 at the 65o cut off. When used in conjunction with other compliant luminaires it is ideally suited for use in lighting schemes requiring LG3: 2001.

The Micro is the smallest luminaire in the Solara range.The design features a precisely spun integrated bezel and fully enclosed reflector housing. As with all Solara products, there is a comprehensive choice of compact fluorescent wattages, pre-wired high frequency electronic ballasts including dimming and emergency versions. The bezel is available in a choice of four colours.

The luminaire features a precisely spun bezel and fully enclosed gear housing which incorporates a wide choice of high frequency electronic ballasts including dimming and emergency versions. The anodised reflector offers excellent photometric performance and a wide range of high quality glass and louvre options are available. The Solara Maximus is particularly suitable for locations that require high output fluorescent downlighting.

Opulus PIR Opulus PIR luminaires have an inbuilt, intelligent Passive Infra Red detector which can provide various operating modes to improve energy efficiency. A choice of two PIR Control devices (full description page 402) are available to control the system.The ‘Controller’ offers simple remote on, off and dimming modes. The ‘Programmer’ offers sophisticated control of various operations including prescence detection and daylight linked illuminance.The system is suitable for use with digital dimming gear types F & G, a Digital Serial Interface is not required with Opulus PIR luminaires. Advice regarding the advantages of the system is available from our Technical Department.

The Arill centre piece is a high quality, die cast, pan and tilt luminaire which is available in a choice of light sources and wattages to provide exceptional accent lighting. The optional Fluorescent Halo is available in four invigorating and distinctive colours which create a vibrant ‘neon’ effect for visual impact. Quality etched glass subtly disguises the Circular Fluorescent lamp and a choice of bezel colours is available. Arill Adjustable TriColor With the same sleek styling as the Arill, the TriColor combines exceptional colour changing properties in a dimensionally compact luminaire.The three Low Voltage Halogen light sources are each pre-wired to an individual transformer to provide versatility. Luminaires can be operated by either manual switching devices or automatically by the Modulator lighting controller. Additional value is added by utilising the more cost effective and versatile white lamps with coloured glass filters. Construction is die cast aluminium which provides the luminaire with a smooth pan and tilt operation. Aluminiumised reflector lamps must be used with the TriColor.

Modulator The Modulator is a sophisticated, user friendly and compact lighting controller which when used with the Arill TriColor produces a wide variety of effects. These include automatic and variable speed crossfade, programmable three channel colour mixing and a fourth manual dimming channel.The crossfade is especially effective when a subtle colour changing ambience is desired.The Modulator has a natural aluminium fascia and can control 35x 20w, 20x 35w or 14x 50w Arill TriColor luminaires. Slave packs are available for larger systems.

The Focus is a very popular retail luminaire due to it’s excellent light sources, reflector performance and high degree of adjustability.The spun metal components and flush safety glass give a clean appearance to the product. Plug and socket connections are used to connect between the wire wound control gear and luminaire. When electronic discharge ballasts are specified the luminaire is supplied pre-wired. A choice of colours including polished chrome are available.

The Spira is a professional quality downlighter with a unique adjustable baffle which can be positioned for either performance and/or decorative effect. In its flush position it creates a 65o cut off and therefore reduces glare. By adjusting the baffle to a lower position, control of the beam width can be implemented. Discreet indicator lines enable accurate positioning to be achieved. The bezel is available in a choice of colours whilst the baffle is always supplied in matt black. Both are manufactured from die cast aluminium. The Spira luminaire is especially effective when used with high output light sources such as the MR16 Metal Halide lamp and is particularly suited to retail, leisure and social environments.

Solara Slim The Solara Slim incorporates many design features to ensure the highest standard of performance and reliability is combined with speed of installation. The lightweight injection moulded polycarbonate body has inbuilt cable grips, tool free connections, snap fit cover and quick and effective Hacel-Lok ceiling fixings.
Once the polycarbonate body has been installed the die cast aluminium bezel is simply clipped into place, providing a clean finish between the luminaire and the ceiling. The slim 107mm luminaire is available with a comprehensive choice of lamp wattages, high frequency electronic ballasts including dimming and emergency versions, enhanced optical performance reflectors and quality glass options. The Solara Slim is eminently suitable for a wide range of applications including retail, commercial and architectural projects.

Opulus PIR Opulus PIR luminaires have an inbuilt, intelligent Passive Infra Red detector which can provide various operating modes to improve energy efficiency. A choice of two PIR Control devices (full description page 402) are available to control the system.The ‘Controller’ offers simple remote on, off and dimming modes. The ‘Programmer’ offers sophisticated control of various operations including prescence detection and daylight linked illuminance.The system is suitable for use with digital dimming gear types F & G, a Digital Serial Interface is not required with Opulus PIR luminaires. Advice regarding the advantages of the system is available from our Technical Department.

Arill Adjustable TriColor With the same sleek styling as the Arill, the TriColor combines exceptional colour changing properties in a dimensionally compact luminaire.The three Low Voltage Halogen light sources are each pre-wired to an individual transformer to provide versatility. Luminaires can be operated by either manual switching devices or automatically by the Modulator lighting controller. Additional value is added by utilising the more cost effective and versatile white lamps with coloured glass filters. Construction is die cast aluminium which provides the luminaire with a smooth pan and tilt operation. Aluminiumised reflector lamps must be used with the TriColor.

Modulator The Modulator is a sophisticated, user friendly and compact lighting controller which when used with the Arill TriColor produces a wide variety of effects. These include automatic and variable speed crossfade, programmable three channel colour mixing and a fourth manual dimming channel.The crossfade is especially effective when a subtle colour changing ambience is desired.The Modulator has a natural aluminium fascia and can control 35x 20w, 20x 35w or 14x 50w Arill TriColor luminaires. Slave packs are available for larger systems.

The Spira is a professional quality downlighter with a unique adjustable baffle which can be positioned for either performance and/or decorative effect. In its flush position it creates a 65o cut off and therefore reduces glare. By adjusting the baffle to a lower position, control of the beam width can be implemented. Discreet indicator lines enable accurate positioning to be achieved. The bezel is available in a choice of colours whilst the baffle is always supplied in matt black. Both are manufactured from die cast aluminium. The Spira luminaire is especially effective when used with high output light sources such as the MR16 Metal Halide lamp and is particularly suited to retail, leisure and social environments.
