Novelist Ann Packer Discusses Her Book 'Songs Without Words' Thursday October 9, 2008 7:00pm to 8:30pm Downtown Library: Multi-purpose Room Ann Parker’s debut novel, “The Dive from Clausen’s Pier”, was a nationwide bestseller that established her as a gifted chronicler of interior lives of women. Her second novel, “Songs Without Words” explaores the lifelong friendship of two women, the confining roles we sometimes take upon ourselves, and the deep connection in frienship that is pushed to the breaking point. Ann wil discuss the novel, recently released in paperback. A book signing will follow with boos for sale courtesy of Shamn Drum Bookshop, co-sponsors of this event.
