DESIGN:

Models 4100-8001, 4100-8201, 4120-8001 and 4120-8201. Power-limited, coded, non-coded or marchtime local, local with shunt master, auxiliary, remote station, central station and proprietary (protected premises). Automatic, manual and waterflow alarm service. Suitable for sprinkler supervisory service as a local or proprietary system. Suitable for releasing device service. The basic system consists of a Model 4100-7003 or 4100-7023. The Models 4100-8001 and 4120-8001 are suitable for combustible gas monitoring. Models 4100-8511, 4100-8601, 4100-8602, 4120-8511, 4120-8601 and 4120-8602 Universal Transponders are suitable for coded, noncoded or march time local, central station and proprietary protected premises service. Automatic, manual, waterflow and sprinkler supervisory service. Suitable for releasing device service. The basic system consists of a Model 4100-7501 or 4100-7502. Models 4100-8010, 4100-8019, 4100-8210, 4120-8010, 4120-8019 and 4120-8210 miniplex control units are suitable for coded, noncoded or march time local, local with shunt master box, auxilliary, remote station protected premises, proprietary protected premises and receiving service, central station protected premises service. Automatic, manual, waterflow alarm; suitable for sprinkler supervisory service as a local, proprietary or central station system. Suitable for releasing device service. The basic system for the -8010 and -8210 numbers consists of a Model 4100-7003 or 4100-7023. The Models 4100-8001 and 4120-8001 are suitable for combustible gas monitoring. INSTALLATION:

In accordance with listee's printed installation instructions, applicable codes and ordinances and in a manner acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction.

MARKING:

Listee's name, model designation, and UL label.

APPROVAL:

Listed as a fire alarm control unit for use in high-rise structures when used with separately listed initiating and indicating devices. This control unit does not generate a temporal pattern signal. If the distinctive three-pulse Temporal Pattern Fire Alarm Evacuation Signal (for total evacuation) in accordance with NFPA 72, 2002 Edition is required, the control unit must be used with appliances that can generate the temporal pattern signal. Refer to manufacturer’s Installation Manual for details. This control unit meets the requirements of UL-864, 8th Edition Standard.
