Saddle installation
1.
To install the saddle, loosen the saddle clamp bolts ① until saddle rails ③ can fit between lower clamp ② and upper clamp ④ of seatpost. Note: Seatposts with a side clamping system, with sharp edges, or with clamping area less than 35 mm are damaging to the FSA, Gravity, and VisionTech saddle rails ③. FSA recommends not using such seatposts.
2.
With saddle rails ③ between adjustable lower clamp ② and the upper clamp ④, adjust saddle angle and forward and aft position within the positioning range indication ⑤. Note: The saddle should be mounted in the center of the positioning range indication ⑤ located on the saddle rails ③. Mounting saddle at the utmost forward and aft ends of the saddle rails ③ will cause saddle to be unevenly stressed. Incorrect mounting of saddle on seatpost will cause breaking or bending of a saddle rails ③. Note: Wrongful assembly or misuse FSA saddle with any other brand seatposts will cause damage to saddle and will not be covered under FSA warranty.
3.
Carefully and evenly tighten the saddle clamp bolts ① to torque recommended by seatpost manufacturer.
