What is Work Ethics?  It is a set of values based on hard wok and deli  It is a belief in the moral benefit of work and its

ability to enhance character.  A work ethic may include being reliable, having initiative ad maintaining social skills, honesty and accountability.

Attributes of work Ethics

1. Work Commitment  Non attachment to the result of action performed  Work for the sake of work  Psychological energy conservation, preventive method against stress. 2.Self Actualization

Criticism of Work Ethics  High work ethics- managers can’t rationally hope

to become more than a manager whose fate still depends on the owner’s decision  Excess work ethics- addiction  Neglects the recreation part from the life.

Swadharma  Work or activity should be done according to law

of your being  Knowledge of swadharma enables you to pave way to your spiritual destiny and enlightenment.  Swadharma recognizes the work performed has a twofold purpose- to give a shape and meaning to your destiny.  -making you an instrument to shape other’s destiny
