Words of Promise and Hope Psalm 91 I dwell in the secret place of the Most High I abide under the shadow of the Almighty I am saying of Yahweh "You are my refuge and my stronghold, my Elohim in whom I trust." For you deliver me from the snare of a trapper From the destructive pestilence. You cover me with Your feathers, And under Your wings I take refuge; Your Truth is a Shield and Armor. I am not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day, Of the pestilence that works in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday. A thousand fall at my side, And ten thousand at my right hand But it does not come near me. Only with my eyes, I look on, And see the reward of the wrong ones. Because I have made Yahweh-The Most High-my dwelling place, No evil befalls me, And a plague does not come near my tent; For You command Your messengers concerning me To guard me in all my ways. They bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash my foot against a stone. I tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent I trample under foot, Because I cleave to You in Love, therefore You deliver me. Amen
