Always on foot. He rode a donkey only once, when he entered Jerusalem triumphant (?)

He has never been into cities larger than 50,000 in population.

He became a Rabbi with a small and not very impressive school of disciples.

In 3 years, He was dead… Executed in his prime of life.

He never wrote a book. Yet, his words has circled around the globe so many times. times

His word, now known as the Holy Bible

is the Number One best selling book of all times.

His coming into the world is pre-announced and was expected.

Isaiah 9:5 For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.

His coming into the world was the landmark of our times

All the years before his birth was marked “B.C.” B.C or Before Christ.. The years thereafter is marked “A.D.” A.D or Anno Domini or Year of the Lord.

Which of these men have had enormous impact on the courses of events has affected millions of people over thousands of years? years Alexander, the Great, Julius Caesar, Karl Marx, Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Churchill ?

Jesus Christ..

People during those times thought he was a Socio-Political

leader out to liberate the Jews from the Roman conquerors. conquerors

But he was more than that. He was to judge the earth. Matthew 25:31-33 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left...

He was Lord of History. Mark 14:62 Then Jesus answered, "I am; and 'you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.'"

The King of Kings out to save us from eternal damnation.

People during his time thought he was an “upstart” from the North who is undergoing an identity crisis. crisis

But he knew his vision and mission in life:

The heavenly Father has sent him on a mission.

John 4:25-26 (Samaritan woman at the well) The woman said to him, "I know that the Messiah is coming, the one called the Anointed; when he comes, he will tell us everything." Jesus said to her, "I am he, the one who is speaking with you."

Even today, people thought he was just “ONE” ONE of those moral and religious teachers.

Neither Buddha, Confucius or Mohammed or other leaders ever claimed to be God. Only JESUS.

He claimed that he has ALL the authority: Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”....

He forgives sin, sin a role only God has. Mark 2:5 (Paralytic lowered from the roof) When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven."

Jesus told people that their sins were forgiven, and never w ai ted to consult all the other people whom their sins had undoubtedly injured.

He behaved as if he was the party chiefly concerned, the person chiefly offended in all offenses.

And unless he is God, Jesus cannot just forgive you for sinning against your fellowmen!

He gives life just like God does.

John 5:21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so also does the Son give life to whomever he wishes.

He claims straightforwardly to be God. He applies the name of God “I AM” to himself. John 8:57-58 So the Jews said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM."

Jesus received the worship from Apostles Thomas & Peter and he never corrected him if it was wrong. John 20:28 Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

Matthew 16:15 - 16

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter said in reply, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."

The Heavenly Father confirms the claim of Jesus

John 11:41-42 (Raising Lazarus from the dead) And Jesus raised his eyes and said, "Father, I thank you for hearing me. I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they may believe that you sent me." me

John1:1-2 & 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us...

The most conclusive proof is that God raised Jesus up from the dead.

A man who was merely a man and saying all sort of things that Jesus said, would not just be a great moral preacher...

Why?

Because either this man was and is the Son of God or He is a liar, a lunatic, a madman or something worse – a demon.

IS INVITING YOU TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. JESUS IS ASKING YOU TO ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR.
