Comp 5 – 10m Standard Pistol: 40 shots; 8 series of 5 shots each in 10sec at ISSF 10m pistol target. No Classes. Timing will be by range command. £5.00 (£3*) Comp 6 – 10m 5-Target: As Comp 5, but 1 shot at each of 5 knock-down targets. No Classes. Timing will be by range command.

Competition re-entries (Comp 5 and 6 only) £2.00 each (pay on the day) If you would like some more practice at the timed fire competitions, re-entries may be available – subject to space. See range officer on the day. Competition re-entries are NOT ELEGIBLE for prizes.

West Midlands Regional Target Shooting Squad

CONDITIONS 1. WM Regional Champions are the highest scoring residents in each event, i.e. Male Female, Junior, Senior, for Pistol and Rifle. 2. Comp 3 is the WM Championship. Comp 1 and Comp 2 are additional open events. 3. All shooting will be conducted to ISSF and NSRA rules, except where stated otherwise or limited by facilities. Your equipment must conform to these rules. Please familiarise yourselves. 4. Competitors not providing a certified average will be entered into "A" class. 5. The number of classes and competitions will depend upon entry at the closing date. 6. A minimum of 3 competitors is required to run a class or competition. If there are less than three, entrants will be allocated to the nearest appropriate class. 7. Prizes awarded as follows: competitors

3 1st 4 to 7 1st & 2nd 8+ 1st, 2nd, & 3rd

8. Juniors are those under 21 on 31 Dec 09. All other ages are taken at this date. In the championship, fee entitles entry to relevant senior competition. 9. ISSF events. Junior shooters will be sub divided into groups: a. Junior U21 b. Youth U17 c. Minor U13 Can shoot two-handed (pistol) or supported (rifle)

Summary of Sporter Air Rifle (SAR) Regulations: (See http://www.sporter.org.uk ) Sporter Air Rifle is intended for new competitors or those who want to compete with a minimum of equipment and expense. Rifle: Sights: Glasses: Clothing: Footwear:

Any .177 air rifle weighing less than 3.5kgs and a trigger weight more than 500gms; Open or aperture sights only; NO Telescopes or Red-Dot. Ordinary glasses only,i.e. NO SHOOTING FRAMES; 'Street clothes', loose fitting clothing only (jeans allowed), i.e. NO SHOOTING JACKETS OR SHOOTING TROUSERS; Low cut street shoes with a flexible sole that do not extend above the ankle bone i.e. NO SHOOTING BOOTS;
