Dear Parents, • School Community Group picnic tonight. • Parent helper’s morning tea this Tuesday at 10.30 in Trinity Hall. • Trip to Brook Sanctuary on this Tuesday weather permitting. • Reports and sample books go home next week. • Last day of school for this year is Wednesday 16th December. • School starts again on February 3, 2010 All homework books back on Friday please.

2. SPELLING 1. Spelling. Learn your spelling for our spelling test. 2. Each night choose 2 or 3 of your spelling words and write an interesting sentence for each word in YOUR HOMEWORK BOOK. Date each days work. By Friday you should have 6 good sentences with Capital letters, full stops and careful spelling. 3. Read every night for at least 10 minutes.
4. BASIC FACTS and times tables Learn 2 basic facts and x tables you got wrong every night so your score improves.
5. Play a game, go for a walk with family or friends. Record what you have done in your book.
