we are redsky-gaming, previously known as good morning vietnam (gmv) or overload-gaming. our team is mostly formed out of finnish players, though we've recently recruited a few european players to strengthen our lineup . we started our official clan activity about 8 months ago, but the clan itself was created 9 months ago. we didn’t have huge plans for ourselves at that time, but a few weeks after we created the team we started sending applications to different leagues and cups. well, the ones we sent an application to, took us in except for cold league and wcl. the reason for them to not take us in was most likely the lack of our experience, at least that’s how they thought. during these 8 months we’ve found our place in the scene. we’re currently participating leagues such as acid gaming league, warcraft gaming league and warcraft international league. in each of those we’ve done quite well. in acid-league consisting of teams such as tot, xlo and h2k we won the league stage of the first season. in wgl we were holding the number two spot until the league countered problems with their web host and shut down season 2. in wil we have been able to climb up the standings since the clan replaced 2ezg after week 3 (with only 1 point after 3 playweeks). with a 7-1 season record and holding the 3rd place after the league-stage we are now participating in the wil playoffs.

· if your team consists of players from different continents: how do you assure that your players form a team while

they are in different time zones, speak different languages? how do you plan to schedule your matches? all the players in redsky live within a 1 hour difference in timezones.. all of the players speak good and understandable english. so far we have managed to schedule each and every one of our games versus our opponents, even though the leagues we participate in are filled mostly with american and non-european teams. a good example is this weeks clanwar vs ec4 where we had to schedule with a team that has players from every continent except for australia and africa.
