Train students how to take care of the Velcro pieces; use 2 hands to remove by gently pulling near the staple. Do not bend the pictures. Simply take photos of parts of a poster, print the pictures. Laminate and use. The poster becomes the ‘answer sheet’ for pupils to self-correct Cut the pictures into as pieces, separate picture and words to increase interaction
Make a ‘Lost and Found’ box for pieces found after clean-up
Make a ‘Velcro First Aid Kit’ with replacement Velcro pieces and stapler
Train students to cut out laminated pieces and attach Velcro; encourage them to take ownership of their created materials
