1. Since the Qur’an says that there were many Messengers and Prophets, do you believe in the Vedas, do you believe in the other messengers or not Do you believe Vedas to be the word of God? Ans. It is a very good questions. I agree with you. The Qur’an says in Ch. 035 V.24 (Fatir [The Angels, Originator]) 035.024 ٌ‫ن مِنْ ُأمّةٍ إِل خَل فِيهَا نَذِير‬ ْ ِ‫ق بَشِيرًا َو َنذِيرًا وَإ‬ ّ َ‫ك بِا ْلح‬ َ ‫ِإنّا َأرْسَ ْلنَا‬ 035.024 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). The Qur’an also says in Ch.13. V . 7 (Ar-Rad [The Thunder]) 013.007 ٍ‫ل َقوْمٍ هَاد‬ ّ ُ‫ت ُمنْذِرٌ وَِلك‬ َ ْ‫ن كَفَرُوا لَوْل ُأنْزِلَ عََليْ ِه آيَ ٌة مِنْ َربّهِ ِإّنمَا َأن‬ َ ‫َويَقُولُ اّلذِي‬ 013.007 And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" But thou art truly a warner, and to every people a guide. Regarding your question that whether I believe that the other Prophets were the Prophets of God. By name, the Qur’an mentions 25 Prophets.
