December 31,2018 i and my whole family spent the night together in my house. We planned to grill fishs together,so i and my cousins prepared the items needed two days before. my eight brothers and I went to the supermarket using a car. we planned to buy some of the seasonings needed to burn fish. because it was not a holiday so no parents accompanied us. at first we were a little confused when choosing flavoring which we finally asked supermarket staff. After getting the ingredients suggested by the supermarket staff, we moved to the frozen food area. We bought some sausages and meatballs to burn too. After that we went to buy fish and some corn on the market, when we went back past people selling fireworks and we finally bought some. The day that was waiting arrived. We were all gathered and ready to burn fish, sausages, meatballs and corn. We started burning around seven o'clock at night. we all really enjoyed family togetherness. around nine o'clock at night all the food was cooked and we ate right away. while waiting for the turn of the year our family talked and joked togetherthe waiting time arrived, ten minutes before 12 o'clock we all had gathered in front of the house to light fireworks. from the old to the young were ready for each cellphone to record. the ten firecrackers we had turned on, flickering fireworks were very beautiful at night even though the sound was very shocking. we kept on fireworks until finally the event that was not wanted happened. suddenly the firecracker ball which should have slid up instead slid down exploding like a bomb. we were all shocked, screaming and immediately retreating to back. really scary. luckily no one was injured, only my older brother who held the fireworks was traumatized. after that incident we immediately stopped fireworks even though there were still a lot of things we hadn't turned on. this was a sweet and bitter that I experienced at the end of 2018 and I will not forget.
