Dear UPAAA Awardee, The University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America (UPAAA) is holding its 2009 General Assembly and Convention in Washington D.C. on September 4-6, 2009. Worth mentioning, proceeds of the gathering are earmarked for a U.P. Professorial Chair in Perpetuity ($30,000). To give recognition to past UPAAA Convention Awardees, the souvenir program of the event will have a special section: UPAAA HALL OF FAME.
