Ty-E Cole Artist Bio:
Ty-E Cole a.k.a. K. Sizzll (born Taketha K. Cole) is the newest artist from Chicago to hit the scene with a sound as refreshing and euphonic as they come. With a strong musical foundation rooted in R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae her style and resonance cannot be mistaken and is sure to demand attention wherever she goes. Some call her the Urban Lark due to her ability to take audiences on musical excursions and provide them with lyrical anecdotes for urban life. Her most profound inspiration is derived from artists such as Bobby “Blue” Bland, Little Milton, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Queen Latifah, M.C Lyte, India Irie, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and countless others. Versatility is what it takes to last in this game and no doubt Ty-E delivers just that. She is a writer, a singer/MC, and producer: An artist in love with her craft. Ty-E sets a microphone ablaze as she gracefully combines melody and rhyme to convey messages over hardcore beats. The sexy street savvy songbird brings flavor and variety to the forefront like the best of them. A dynamo individually with a strong team (Michelle “LolliPop” Lane and Johnda “Jay” Cole) that has an obvious chemistry; Ty-E and the Snak Pak are a sight to see. Ty-E has performed at several night clubs, festivals (including the Chicago Reggae Festival) and appeared on local news broadcasts in Chicago as well. She has also shared the stage with many local and international reggae artists such as Junior “One Blood” Reid, Kofi, Devon Brown, Anthony B. and Queen Omega to name a few. The world of Hip Hop can rest assured that Ty-E brings the goods and is the truth in the purest sense of the word. As
quiet as she has been kept Ty-E is now ready to take the game and the world by storm.
