Types of Triangles
On the Basis of Angles:-
1. Acute Angled Triangle A triangle is called Acute angled triangle if all of its angles are less than 90 degree
2.
Right Angled Triangle A triangle is called Right angled triangle if its any one angle is equal to 90 Degree
3.
Obtuse Angled Triangle A triangle is called Obtuse Angled triangle if its any one of its angle is greater then 90 Degree
On the Basis of Lines:-
1. Equilateral Triangle A triangle is called Equilateral triangle if all of its sides are equal to each other or all of its angles are equal i.e. 60 degree
2. Isosceles Triangle A triangle is called Isosceles triangle if any two of its sides are equal to each other
2. Scalene Triangle A triangle is called Scalene triangle if all of its sides are Different from each other
Properties Sum of the angles:The Sum of its all angles never exceeds from 180 degree
The Exterior angle of triangle is equal to Sum of their interior opposite angles
∠ Α +∠ Β=∠ L
Angles opposite to equal sides are also equal
Sides opposite to equal Angles are also equal
Longer side has greater angle opposite to it.
∠Β > ∠C ⇒ ΑC > AB
Sum of two sides of triangle is always greater than its third side
We can say : -
AB + BC > AC AC + BC > AB AB + AC > BC
In Right angled triangle Hypotenuses is longer side
AC > AB AC > BC
Calculating Area of Triangle
1.
½ x Base x altitude (height)
Calculating Area of Triangle For Equilateral Triangle
2.
√ ¾ x (Sides)2
Calculating Area of Triangle Hero Formula ________________
3.
√ s ( s - a ) (s – b ) ( s - c ) Here s= a+b+c 2
Calculating Perimeter of Triangle Parameter of a triangle is equal to the sum of three sides
Perimeter= a+b+c
