Trent Ltd, India Trent is a major retailer with 14 stores operating in the apparel segment and Hypermarket format. Trent has initiated business in the hypermarket segment and implemented SAP Retail for this business. . The project execution covered store and 2 warehouses operating in the hypermarket segment – this covers Grocery, FMCG, Branded Apparel, Private Labels, Furniture, White Goods retailing. The SAP footprint is however developed for 5 stores to be opened over the next 2 years and at least 5 warehouses. Total Number of SKUs – 70,000. Number of Suppliers > 200 Store will operate in discount format. Discounts and Promotions will run on all brands throughout the year Nature of Assignment: End to End Implementation – SAP Retail + BW3.0 + EP6.0 Methodology Adopted: Onsite Onsite Location: India SAP modules  FI/CO – Finance & Controlling  SAP Retail – Industry Solution  BW 3.0  EP 6.0 Highlights of the assignment:  This was a green-field project & the scope covered end-to-end implementation of all modules of SAP Retail as well as Financials (GL, AR, AP), Controlling (Cost and Profit Centre Accounting), Asset Management.  The scope also covers integration of POS solution with SAP Retail.  In addition, BW and EP6.0 were also implemented with interfaces to POS system making it one of the early Net Weaver implementations in India.  In BW - Apart from the Standard info cubes, Customization was done to extract criticial business data from POS.  EP - To Provide a dashboard view with single sign-on for various components of the SAP Suite ABAP/4 Development:  Involvement in development of  New reports specific to business requirements  SAPScript, User-Exits developments  Custom ABAP developments
