MODULE

Learning/ Trainee Learners can simply glance at their calendar to see when they are due to start any of their new training activities. TrainingOffice™ provides a user-friendly and intuitive interface for Trainees: • Information Center: Training / Reading Activities to sign, emails to read • Training Activities to complete • Employee Profile: Training Record, Revision History, Signed Entry Correction. The course information lists: • the type of course (instructor-led, e-learning, CBT), • a description of the course, • the start date of training sessions, and • the course outline. Learners have access to the courses in their Certificate program. They can see which they have succeeded and those they have failed.

Tutoring The work environment of instructors has been designed to provide them with quick access to: • a list of all the courses they are tutoring, • a timetable for each one of those courses, • the number of essay-type tests they have to correct for each course and a quick link to the actual answers that need correcting. Trainers are responsible for providing advice and guidance to Trainees who are enrolled in training activities. • Information Center: Training Activities to approve, send batch emails, Signed Entry Correction approval • Access and manage existing Activity Sessions • Trainee Management: view Trainee information • Completed Activity Management: Training Entry, Document Upload, Signed Entry Correction.

Training Coordination Training Coordinators are responsible for assigning Trainers and enrolling Trainees to pre-defined training activity sessions. • Training Activity Management: create sessions (online and classroom) and assign trainees • Training Dashboard: keep track of all trainingrelated activities in the organization • Completed Activity Management: Training Entry, Document Upload, Signed Entry Correction • Information Center: approve training requests online, batch email employees.

Furthermore, they can create course sessions, manage content providers (e-commerce), manage skills, manage facilities, view numerous reports.

Registration This module manages user registration to the Learning Centre as well as enrolment of learners on courses. This is where enrolment requests are processed and approved, instructors and instructional designers are assigned and where enrolment reports are generated for specific periods. Tools to search for users and courses help registrars in their job. Various reports are generated concerning course enrolments.

Configuration This module for administrators includes the tools to update the TrainingOffice™ license, configure the ecommerce parameters and update currencies and add customized reports.

Design From the properties records of learning activities, designers can create different types of courses (external, instructor-led, CBT and videoconference). Designers use TrainingOffice™ to develop and distribute training activities. They organize and process the information that is conveyed to the Trainees and ensure its efficiency so that Trainees have, at their disposal, all the necessary means to understand the subject matter. • Access Training Activity List • Create new Training Activity • Search for documents • Manage question pools. The SCORM compliant property can be added to resources in order to use the compliance to the standard as a search criterion for learning material.
