The Power Management Institute (PMI) of NTPC provide management and technical training, complemented by Full Scope Simulators Training facilities for Power station. EDC’s (Employee Development Centers) located at all the plants of NTPC providing training specific to the needs of the plant both in technical and managerial areas. NTPC has two simulator training institutes at Korba and Kawas providing experience on running a plant to graduate engineer trainees, from non-executive to executive category.
•The four specialized training centers at Singrauli, Ramagundam, Korba and Farakka also have necessary infrastructure for training. The facilities at NTPC are also available to other organizations in the power sector. CLASS (Center for Learning & Self Strive) is to add value to the organization in achieving desired level of Productivity, Performance and Profitability (3 Ps) through people.
