Time Travelling by Water Wessex Archaeology

The Time Travelling by Water project is making the work of Wessex Archaeology's coastal and marine team available to all. Our marine department is one of the largest and most experienced in the country. The work we do is exciting and evocative but the nature of marine archaeology means that it is not often accessible. This project takes our work out of the water and into the public eye. Time Travelling by Water is visiting school groups and societies, appearing at event days and maintaining a regularly updated website. From shipwrecks to submarines, aircraft to bridges, this project aims to give everyone access to their marine heritage.
