THE USE OF THE ANIMALS FOR THEIR FUR
THE ALPACA The alpaca is a typical animal in Peru. The alpaca weights between 50 and 55 kilograms and his height is one meter. They have been selected for the production of fibres, these fibres are very use in these days. Hardly any of these animals are raised in Argentina, but most of these animals are raised in the United States, Europe and New Zealand due to the exportation of Peru. They are valued by their wool because some companies make differents kind of clothes using the wool. The four colours are brown, black, white and grey. The “baby alpaca” is the more expensive to the other ones. If some companies didn’t sell differents kind of clothes using the wool, these companies would be broke.
THE SHEEP The sheep is a farm animal whose skin is covered with wool. Males and females have horns. Raising sheep is important to farmers in many economies because the sheep can give milk, wool and meat. With the milk, people make the cheese. Also using the wool we can make clothes, footwear and rugs. The majority of these animals are raised in China, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Chile. If the wool of the sheep didn’t use in the textile industry, the economy wouldn’t be good in our country
