The Universe : The Fourth Dimension
The Fourth Dimension The fourth dimension is all the space one can get to by traveling in a direction perpendicular to to 3dimensional space.
The Fourth Dimension This is the zeroth dimension with no variations to the dimensions within it. This dimension would be the same as a single point.
The Fourth Dimension This is the first dimension with all dimensions the same except for one. This dimension would be the same as a line segment.
The Fourth Dimension This is the second dimension with two dimensions different and the remainder dimensions the same. This is the same as a square.
The Fourth Dimension This is the third dimension with three dimensions different from the remainder of the dimensions. This is the same as a cube.
The Fourth Dimension This is the fourth dimension with four dimensions of different sizes. The fourth dimension is the space perpendicular to the three-dimensional figure, which can not exist within our universe because of the restrictions of the third dimension.
The Fourth Dimension The universe within which we live has only three spatial dimensions; therefore, the fourth dimension in our universe would be time. While time is not a dimension we can see or feel it is very much a dimension that exist within our universe.
