This is a response to the forum on: http://whywontgodhealamputees.com/forum/index.php?topic=8292.0 Anybody thinking can easily notice that there is neither ‘meat’ nor weight in the response coming from these people who believe that God is imaginary. A pinch of law will make people realize that their response is nonsense. I used a bunch of verses, they said, to prove that my God is good. I am thankful they have noticed His goodness in the verses that I have cited; and I have the right to use such verses because I believe in Him who said those words; But under the law of estoppel, not one of these five (5) who responded have the right to use any verse in the Bible because they have denied the existence of God. Estoppel: A legal principle that prevents a person from asserting or denying something in court that contradicts what has already been established as the truth. equitable estoppel A type of estoppel that bars a person from adopting a position in court that contradicts his or her past statements or actions when that contradictory stance would be unfair to another person who relied on the original position. For example, if a landlord agrees to allow a tenant to pay the rent ten days late for six months, it would be unfair to allow the landlord to bring a court action in the fourth month to evict the tenant for being a week late with the rent. The landlord would be estopped from asserting his right to evict the tenant for late payment of rent. Also known as estoppel in pais. http://www.nolo.com/definition.cfm/term/7F1E56D5-7EC1-4CEB86B3943F6990FF77 “The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves.” Romans 14:22 (English Standard Version) “As for you and your faith, keep your faith to yourself in the presence of God. The man is to be congratulated who does not pronounce judgement on himself in what his actions sanction.” (1912 Weymouth New Testament) It is ridiculous to see that somebody who does not believe in God will use God’s word in casting doubts upon the integrity of the very same person he does not believe to exist. Imagine, an imaginary God, they say, and yet use such powerful words and bank on to make other people believe that that God does not exist. It is awfully funny, is it not? Notice what they said in their RESPONSE: The good reverend should not engage in mockery of the bald. God does not take it lightly! See what He did to the naughty children in the story of Elisha and the bears (2 Kings 2:23-25)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Kings%202:2325;&version=46; Some Boys Make Fun of Elisha 23Elisha left and headed toward Bethel. Along the way some boys started making fun of him by shouting, “Go away, baldy! Get out of here!” 24Elisha turned around and stared at the boys. Then he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Right away two bears ran out of the woods and ripped to pieces forty-two of the boys. 25Elisha went up to Mount Carmel, then returned to Samaria. Again, these funny people say “God does not take it lightly” (mockery of the bald) used the Bible, which came from God they do not believe; even citing the verse in 2 Kings 2:23-25. Is it not funny? Not only funny but unfair for the God which they are trying to defame!
Now, if their reason in using these verses that they have cited is that they believe in them, and they now believe in God; I want them to know that there is a way by which God can heal an amputee, when the hope of the righteous Christian will finally be realized. (Corinthians 15:50-54) “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So
when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” They are obliged to believe this inasmuch as they are citing the Bible as an authority to refute other’s belief. This is logical and fair! GIVE MY GOD A CHANCE TO FULFILL ALL HIS PROMISES IN HIS PERFECT TIME! THE QUESTION WITH UNFAITHFUL MORTALS IS THAT THEY ARE BLIND AND CAN NOT SEE AFAR OFF. (2 Peter 1:9) “But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.” Even rain has its bow and it is far-reaching!
