THE HOPE OF THE RESURRECTION EASTER IS LIBERATION Isaiah 61:1-3, 62:11-12 and 63:1 I. The Five Spiritual Bondages of Sin: 1. Sin _____________________ you. (Proverbs 5:22) 2. Sin _____________________ you. (John 8:34 & Romans 6:16) 3. Sin _____________________ you. (Acts 8:23) Resurrection! It is our way of life! Like the apostle said, “...if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and hopeless and so is your faith.” I have no problem believing that Christ was raised from the dead and is alive today, sitting at the right hand of the Father. I tell you that I know of no information that causes me one iota of concern regarding Christ’s resurrection. In fact, I believe it so strongly, that it forms the very basis of my Christian belief system. Since I believe so strongly in His resurrection, I am at peace about myself and my future, and it gives me a hope now in these troubled times as well. When I breathe my last breath here on earth, the next destination is heaven! What a blessed hope! What better reason to celebrate! “The Lamb of God has risen! He’s alive! He’s alive! Hallelujah! Jesus is alive!” Happy Easter,
Pastor Bob
