INTRODUCTION Case Statement Learners nowadays are exposed to different issues in our society. Encountering problems may be normal to some, but there are really learners who struggle to manage problem. Problems from home, school, society and even relationship may result to stress. Having these together may result to depression. Nowadays, there were reports on which millennial have higher rates on depression. Some of the characteristic a millennial learner possess are (1) They have a shorter attention span.(2) They prefer interactive, experiential and collaborative learning.(3) They are very comfortable with technology.(4) They multitask (5) They are driven by instant gratification.(6) They like informal and stimulating environments.(7) They prefer casual and friendly relationships with teachers.(8) They are often well-rounded. Knowing these different characteristics, millennial learners are far different from the other generations, especially on the different things they are exposed to and what are there happiness. It can clearly explain that millennial learners can be satisfied easily and instantly. They have lived in a world with many instant. Theoretical Conceptual Framework School

a. Input Behaviorism and cognitivism are the theories that may help support and explain how millennial perceive. Behaviorism, the main idea in this theory is stimulus-response. All behavior is caused by external stimuli and either positive or negative re-enforcement. Learning is defined as behavior change in the learner and the learner is viewed as passive, responding to motivations. A learner who is faced in a situation has given choices on how are they going to manage the situation they are in. Cognitivism, the main idea here is that mental function can be understood. This theory focuses on inner mental activities, compared in part to a computer. Information comes in, is processed, and leads to certain outcomes. In fact, the learner is viewed as an information processor. Given the intelligence the learner has to evaluate on how they process each information and converting it to a positive one.

a. Throughput Reports nowadays are about of suicides that is caused by depression. Most of the victims of the said reports are students. Factors such as the school, family/home and society are emphasize to which they are the direct proponent to the student. Millennial learners are exposed to gadgets that can be also a factor in poor management of emotion. Gadgets limits the learners to socialize with their peers. Given the fact that modern technologies has brought and fed them with new ideas but it limits the learner to explore more the world. The School Stress is a major issue for students as they cope with academic, social, and personal challenges (Hudd et al., 2000). Students are expected to carry a more difficult workload at a faster pace while adjusting to a new environment with little or no supervision (Missouri AHEAD, 2007). The inability to cope with stress has been shown to have negatively impact health behaviors in college students, including alcohol abuse, smoking, and eating disorders (Oliver, Reed & Smith, 1998; Pritchard, Wilson, & Yamnitz, 2007; Economo, Hildebrandt, & Hyatt, 2008). Several studies have also shown a decrease in the mental health status of college students due to stress, which contribute to increase in rates of depression (Yorgason, Lonville, & Zitzman, 2008; Dyson & Renk, 2006; Benton et al., 2002) and lower self-esteem (Hudd et al., 2000). The Millennials face a great deal of stress regarding their education. According to Howe and Strauss (2000), the Millennials are the first generation since 1945 to face a more stringent set of academic standards than the generation before it. Students know they have to succeed in high school if they want to get into college or university, a fact that is often reinforced by parents, the media, and the school system. Going to college is no longer reserved for the elite, it is the norm. Home/Family Students at either level experience stress from parental pressures. Parents want their children to succeed in school. They want to see good grades, but they also want to see success in life’s other areas. In their attempts to guide their children, parents can become one of the major causes of stress on students.

Society Society may affect the millennial learners positive or negatively. It is on the hand of the learner how they perceive society a challenge for them to do better. These factors are the direct proponent of our learners. These may either help or a hindrance to the learners success. b. Output School Millennial Learners are given the freedom to choose their own on how to carry the given workloads. Teachers’ guidance and presence is essential in the learners’ shortcomings, a word of advice and encouragement is needed. Home/Family Parents must know the strength and weaknesses of their child. Parents must be aware on how far their children can go and do. Parents should also show encouragement and a supporter to their children. Society Millennial learners must be group with peer who have a positive outlook in life. Methodology The research brings forth five learners as the respondents. A qualitative method was used to gather data for the research. Through a questionnaire, the learners shared their stories and experiences on how they manage and cope up with the different problems they encounter. Their accounts and responses would support the success of this research. The coding process aimed at identifying patterns, similarities and dissimilarities between the five learner respondents. The main goal is to bring forward thoughts and experiences on change. Results and Discussion The analysis of the five responses solicited from the learners shows that there are two factors on which they are most affected to it is the school (this includes the workloads, school system, relationship between the classmates/schoolmates/teachers) and family (most of them are concern on the relationship between the family members).

On the other hand, having a positive outlook in life, faith and trust in God, giving importance to life, able to communicate the problems with friends and family, and doing the best he/she can are some of the common strategies our respondents have shared to conquer and overcome their problems. As to how they can become an instrument to inspire the millennial generations they have commonly give the importance of life and to justify our existence in the world. Conclusion and Recommendations To eliminate and lessen the issues in suicides there are ways to establish a positive outcome. Building a good relationship towards the member of the school, family and society will help a lot in students’ success. Learners also must be given a chance to be exposed in seminars like emotional management. Positive feedback and appraisal from every deed they have done correctly can help them motivated and positive. Constant communication between parent and teacher regarding the status of the learner is also recognized for the benefit of the child. Integrating realistic situation in the lesson is also important for the child’s preparation as they grow up.
