Thank You Parents

November 23, 2009 Dear Parents/Guardians: Over the past several weeks you have been asked to donate to groups representing four different charities: the Rotary Club and its campaign to provide books to school children in the Philippines; the Samaritan Purse's “Operation Christmas Child”; the Single Parents' Association; and finally World Vision. In each of these ventures you have clearly shown to what extent our community consists of “men and women for others”. 1. 2. 3. 4.

The Rotary Club picked up or had delivered to them over 1700 books! Through Mr. Glynn's organization we delivered 230 boxes to the Samaritan Purse organization last Friday. Three van loads of toys and other goods were delivered to the Single Parents' association on Friday morning. Using the funds from the Grade 5 Popcorn day sale and last Friday's fundraiser, St. Bon's can assist the World Vision organization in the purchase of a variety of food producing animals for families in the Third World.

So at this time let me thank you on behalf of the administrators and staff for these wonderful displays of generosity. These acts of kindness are noted both on earth and by God. Remember that Jesus said: “ Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers and sisters, so you do unto me.” Thank you, congratulations and God bless you Brian Hughes Principal
