Signal No.1 (White)

Tropical cyclone may affect SZ within 48hr.

Signal No.2 (Blue)

Tropical cyclone may or has already affect SZ within 24hr, with 6-7 grade sustained strong winds.

Signal No.3 (Yellow)

Signal No.4 (Orange)

1. All organizations should monitor typhoon situation on a timely basis. 2. Residents should listen to or watch related reports from news media or update themselves with typhoon development by calling the 121 weather hotline. 1. All organizations should take measures against typhoon and notify their employees working ourdoors, in mid-air, at harbour, ports or at sea. 2. Residents should secure articles susceptible to typhoon for safety purpose.

Tropical cyclone may or has already affect SZ within 24hr, with 8 grade or above sustained strong gale.

1. Nursery school, primary schools and secondary schools should cease classes and assign dedicated personnel to care about students or children already on premises. 2. All outdoor, mid-air, port and sea operations should cease. Marine vessels should stop entering ports. All vessels in ports should leave marina to anchor in haven ports against typhoon. 3. All organizations should take measures against typhoon.

It means that there is serious road flooding and weather conditions are inclement. Very heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over the city, exceeding 100 millimeters in the past 3 hours, and is likely to continue. It means that there is serious road flooding and weather conditions are inclement.

Red Signal

With the exception of special industries such as rescue, savage, medical and basic utilities such as public transportation, water, power and gas, all industrial activities should cease.
