Organic matter recycled from Sewage, especially for use in agriculture. Fuel and fertiliser for gardens etc. Proteins treated in sewerage to make them safe to use in biological applications such as fertilizers. Human waste (both number 1 and number 2) Basically the "sludge" left over from the water treatment process. Human waste, anything biodegradable that is contained in water. The Solid waste that is left over from the wastewater treatment process Poo! Biodegradable solids from waste that can be harnessed for other uses eg plastics I thought they were organic solid materials (in this case non-liquid human product) - eg "poo". Ie. products that can be readily decomposed as opposed to metals and plastics, etc Well not sure really but only had yes and no answer and wanted to guess: the treated solid remains following waste H20 treatment. What remains after water is removed from wastewater. The solid produced from the treatment of biological waste for use on gardens etc It's a solid product left after the treatment of sewerage Product after the waste has been treated. Used for various means as stated above. Very vaguely!!! We object to countries such as China using human waste as fertisiliser for health reasons so I don't believe we should do it here May stink But no drinking water please! Only concern is that it is done properly with no risk to the environment and society. Need guarantee that the treatment does prevent disease, as there are enough problems with food now without further contaminations. Because humans consume this food Toxicity, greenhouse gas emissions?

Is there any harmful side effects to us in the long-term usage in agriculture? Is all of the waste can be created to biosolids? if not what happened to the rest of it? Where are they created, e.g. where specifically in Perth? No. Nothing What are they exactly? What are the future plans for, and how it will impact the state Safety and sanitation standards Everything about everything Is there a net energy saving in it's production compared to equivalent fertiliser? Self-management at home (eg. management of so-called black water) Are they completely safe to use Can they be used for growing vegetables etc for human consumption? Areas of current use and process to eliminate potential contamination That it is done effectively? Nil Not enough obviously! The thought of using it for showering or washing is a bit icky. More public awareness on how they are treated to become "safe" - what sort of tests are done, and what the process is when the tests indicate that the biosolid isn't "safe". Better ways to recycle. Nothing more Nil Obviously I need to know a lot more in general! More specifically, where they are used? Where they are used Are biosolids created when producing potable water? What the hell are they, I can only guess but it would be nice not to guess. Perhaps I should Google it.
