Mexican Independence By: Stephanie Leon

Stage 1- Before Independence The Spanish had power over the criollos, Blacks, Indigenous people, and mestizos.

Stage 2 - Planning • Miguel fight against the Spanish Hidalgo led the for freedom.

Stage 3 - Grito De Delores • Hidalgo starts the fight against the Spanish but is captured and killed.

Stage 4 - Mexican Independence • The Spanish lost and they are kicked out. Mexico uses the plan de Iguala to give everyone rights.

Mexican -American war 1 • The Us Invaded Mexico and dedicated war.

Mexican- American war 2 • The US won because Mexico was not well supplied.

Mexican- American war 3 • The US won six states and gave Mexico $15 million.
