Milgram’s Studies
The Peril’s of Obedience” definition of being obedient is “ a basic element in the structure of social life as one can put to, but only the person dwelling in isolation doesn’t have to respond with the system of authority (314 Milgram).” Milgram informs the reader that from this experiment he concluded is that “ the obedience we naturally show authority figures can transform us into agents of terror (313 Milgram). Diana Baumrind on the other hand finds Milgram unethical to his studies of whether or not his scientific experiment shows validity and strong ethics in his study. Baumrind talks about how unethical Milgrams experiment is by saying, “however handled this experiment cannot justify the risk that real harm will be done to the subject ( ). In contrast Milgram argues how he was ethical in his studies by giving the subjects questioners on the subjects reaction after the experiment. Between these two articles there is a lot of contrast dealing with Milgram’s experiment. These two views relate in ways that Milgram’s study was ethical, but yet contrast with one another on how they support on the intended point. In 1963, Stanley Milgram designed one of the original studies of obedience “ testing on how much pain an ordinary citizen would inflict on one another person simply because he was ordered to by an experimental scientist ( 314 milgram).” The authority was put in a difficult

situation being dealt with these strong moral imperatives having to listen to the screams and shrieks of the victims. Interesting enough these adult subjects would go any lengths from the command of an authority figure that combined to form as a whole of what the experiment consisted from. In Milgram’s simple experimental design, two people were assigned a position taking part in a study of memorization and comprehension. One of the subjects is given the job as being the teacher and the other subject is designated a learner. Mr. Milgram then explains that the experiment is based
