Am I a Resident? A resident is any person who lives within the City Limits of Duluth. This is not to be confused with school attendance. City and School District boundaries are not the same. Even though your mailing address is Duluth, this does not necessarily mean you are a City resident. Most programs/classes have different fees for residents and non-residents. Non-residents must pay an additional surcharge established by the Park and Recreation Board (More than half of the participants in many of our programs live outside the City of Duluth and the cost of supplying these programs comes exclusively from City taxpayers; fairness requires that non-City residents share the burden of expense). The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Agency reserves the right to remove anyone falsifying information from our programs. Please call our office at 770-814-6981 if you have any questions regarding residency.
Photograph/Video Policy The Agency, on occasion, may photograph or videotape registrants, participants and spectators in Agency programs, special events or facilities. Such photographs are for Agency use only and may be used in publications, brochures, pamphlets, flyers, websites or video productions.
Programming Requests This is your Recreation and Parks Agency! We can improve our service with your suggestions on types of programs and activities of interest that you recommend.
